But in the US, most people get to internet via 56k phone line. Even people in USA can get to internet via broadband, most people use TV cable with a stupid modem. The average cost to access internet over a cable modem is about $40 while in China the average cost for the broadband Ethernet access is about $6. As the world becomes smaller and smaller, the countries should care each other. No country in the world should be alone. Because an act of one country is more likely to affect another country, either benefit or hurt. Chinese calendar is lunar calendar. And the Chinese new year begins about a month later than the solar calendar.
