But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet. About two weeks ago i decided it was time for another routine fecal exam for my bearded dragon. I decided the next time i saw a fecal in her cage that i was going to scoop it and take it to work to run and check for parasites as a preventative measure. Well the problem is, since then i have not seen a fecal. Over the past week, my female dragon has been acting a little sluggish. She was in brumation for awhile, but that ended about a month ago. I took her out today and gave her a bath. I noticed that she had a build up of what looked like a mix of urate and sand around her anal pore. Okay, that is my setup. Despite all of this, my beardie is showing two digits on his right-front foot swelling, as well as part of his forearm, but no discoloration. His rear right foot is also swollen somewhat, with his longest digit sticking out. And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again. Why is he running around like crazy? i dont think he can really see any of the other animals. he's not doing it to me either. |
