There is a cut on the sole of this foot which I have been cleaning every day with medical disinfectant swabs that the vet prescribed for reptile usage. I have had him at the vets for x-rays, and all his bones appear to be strong, no breakage anywhere. He had a bout of coccidia and pinworms last year that the vet prescribed Albon and Panacur, which was followed up with Acidophiliz to get his gut-flora rebalanced. But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet. I removed it and now she has a tiny bit of red flesh protruding. I'm not sure what has happened, but she remains at a vey healthy weight and she is alert and eating. I'm hoping that she defecates soon so I can be a little relieved. At first i wasn't worried but now im starting to feel kinda nervous about it, i mean its been almost two weeks since her last fecal. Does this sound to long to any one? And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again. I went with the home made incubator, and i did really well with it too 14 out of 16 hatched of the first clutch. would of been 15 but one baby drowned in his egg. he cut the slit in the egg then turns from the hole and drowned in his liquid. Rebel, kind of has a boring cage setup.... I am short on money so I need ways of MAKING my own cage furniture and stuff. It's important to me that he is happy. I need things that are kinda easy, since I am not a great sculptor.... Any ideas? All is greatly appriciated! Thanks in advance! Oh and my AIM is c0mput3rtw34k3r if anyone wants to help me through Instant messanging! She has been eating like a horse and continues to do so. Veggies are almost always fresh but are occasionally frozen. Her crickets are always gutloaded at home by me and are fed a diet of fresh veggies and flukers cricket feed. |
