Tiger is the king of the forest. Dragon is also a symbol of power, authentic and good fortune. But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet. Over the past week, my female dragon has been acting a little sluggish. She was in brumation for awhile, but that ended about a month ago. I took her out today and gave her a bath. I noticed that she had a build up of what looked like a mix of urate and sand around her anal pore. They were not eating his food, just drinking from his water but within a couple days they were every where in his cage. so i cleaned it up and moved it to the other side of the room. but the only place i could put his cage was on the floor. he's running back and forth like crazy, stoping to bob his head which iv never seen him do till now. And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again. I have a female and a male bearded dragon caged together and this past Saturday (May 14th) she laid eggs. I am pretty sure that they are furtile eggs, but that is not my problem. My female has not started to eat again after laying the eggs. I have been having a problem with ants in my house and for some reason only half of my basement has ant trails. so i can safely keep all my animals down here but only on one side. i got a bearded dragon and put him up off the ground on some shelves hoping ants wouldn't get up there but they did. I removed it and now she has a tiny bit of red flesh protruding. I'm not sure what has happened, but she remains at a vey healthy weight and she is alert and eating. I'm hoping that she defecates soon so I can be a little relieved. Her belly doesn't feel swollen or hard and her behavior is completely normal. I have been giving her lengthy (20-25min) soaks every two to three days for the last week and a half and still i have seen no poo. |
