Rebel, kind of has a boring cage setup.... I am short on money so I need ways of MAKING my own cage furniture and stuff. It's important to me that he is happy. I need things that are kinda easy, since I am not a great sculptor.... Any ideas? All is greatly appriciated! Thanks in advance! Over the past week, my female dragon has been acting a little sluggish. She was in brumation for awhile, but that ended about a month ago. I took her out today and gave her a bath. I noticed that she had a build up of what looked like a mix of urate and sand around her anal pore.

And when i looked at the eggs they were all dented and half deflated. so i put them in a glass tank and up the humidity to where it almost makes a rain cloud and some of them got plump again.

There is a cut on the sole of this foot which I have been cleaning every day with medical disinfectant swabs that the vet prescribed for reptile usage. I have had him at the vets for x-rays, and all his bones appear to be strong, no breakage anywhere. He had a bout of coccidia and pinworms last year that the vet prescribed Albon and Panacur, which was followed up with Acidophiliz to get his gut-flora rebalanced.

The only thing I can guess at is MBD, but the x-rays don't show anything. I'm now guessing bloodwork to determine if there is MBD and/or any infection as well as another fecal sample (which HAS been a while since the last one was done). Shed skin is NOT the culprit, as all digits are clear of skin, all the way down to the nails. Draconis is alert but does limp pitifully when he walks. This is really driving me batty.

About two weeks ago i decided it was time for another routine fecal exam for my bearded dragon. I decided the next time i saw a fecal in her cage that i was going to scoop it and take it to work to run and check for parasites as a preventative measure. Well the problem is, since then i have not seen a fecal.

But I was using a plastic bin and a under water heater. and in here in Arizona its getting real hot. so anyways i keep the incubator in my closet and i haven't gone in there for a while, and when i looked all the water was gone so i put about 8 gallons of water back in and i notice the heater melted a big whole in the plastic and the water was all over my carpet.

I removed it and now she has a tiny bit of red flesh protruding. I'm not sure what has happened, but she remains at a vey healthy weight and she is alert and eating. I'm hoping that she defecates soon so I can be a little relieved.
